It was a beautiful and engaging evening at Wedgewood’s Menifee Lakes Country Club where our April meeting was held
Tucked into the heart of Menifee and conveniently located just off of the 215 fwy, is the sprawling country club called Menifee Lakes. This property gives you a feeling of grandeur as you arrive. Upon entering the interior, you are greeted with floor to ceiling windows and tall ceilings. With a large space for entertaining, it is a great option for a wedding or event.
The décor for the evening included ivory linens, blue napkins atop a green charger and a long blue runner across the circular table. The centerpieces included tall clear vases with white flowers and accented with floral branches to give the design more shape and texture. Each table also had a custom created wood table marker provided by our new member, Cades and Birch.
The tall ceilings included gorgeous wrought iron chandeliers and were covered in white draping – a very elegant touch!
One of my favorite details was the donut and cookie wall which was a big hit! The donuts were gone in a blink and was a treat not to be missed.
The dinner provided by Wedgewood included 7 different types of salads (mixed greens and fruit, Caesar, broccoli, etc.) as well as a meat carving station and a pork and chicken option. Everyone’s plate was stacked high!
Wedgewood also provided the speaker for the evening, which was a very insightful presentation about branding and marketing your business. Your name, logo design and marketing materials all communicate the brand you represent, and you want to ensure it is cohesive with what you are trying to sell; including the services you provide. It was a must-attend!
Additionally, part of our “Tin-Year” celebration is about bringing back some of the original “hits” from the past including our monthly member spotlight. It is a great opportunity for a randomly selected business to get 5 minutes of the meeting to communicate who they are, what services they offer and what makes them unique. Additionally, they are given a display table at the meeting to share a design, promo materials, you name it. It is a wonderful way for all of the members to get to really know more about our fellow vendors. This month was Paper Doll Invitations (who also created the unique and classy menu cards for the evening). Next month we will learn from Peachy Keen Weddings.
