August 2017 Network Meeting Recap

August 2017 Network Meeting Recap

The wedding vendors of the temecula Valley once again had a meeting that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

As many of you know, The Temecula Valley Wedding Professionals regularly holds monthly meetings in and around the Temecula Valley on the first Tuesday of each month. But once in awhile – not too often – we create memorable affairs. August’s meeting at South Coast Winery was one such event. Before we get too far ahead, let’s regress and talk about the fun things.

Every two years or so we do a Specialty Rental Showcase – this is an opportunity for our rental equipment providers to show off their newest and most shiny things. We all love this as rentals in the wedding field is big business. We’re talking tables, chairs, arbors, hedges, plates, glassware, and well you get the picture. It’s really a feast for the eyes and traditionally shows many of the meetings attendees what trends are coming and so on. Few venues can do this as we need a large space and this is where the expansive Bell Tower Courtyard at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa fits like a glove. We had an overwhelming participation level from; A Better Party Rentals & Design, Abbey’s Party Rentals, Allies Party Rentals, Enticing Tables, Gonzalez Productions, Inland Empire Audio Video Rentals, Premier Party & Tent Rentals, Rustic Events, and Signature Party Rentals. No other networking group around could be so lucky to have so many rental companies at one place at one time showcasing their wares!

Over 90 wedding professionals attended this evening event and were treated to a huge room of conversations all about networking and building their respective business’ in the valley. This was enhanced by our welcoming of 10 new members to the group: Astray Photography, Chunk-N-ChipGrand Traditions, Inland Empire Audio Visual Rentals, Katalyst Bar Services, Peachy Keen Weddings & Event Designs, Ross Creations Professional DJ Service Entertainer, RSVP Weddings & Events, Sweet Oak Ranch, and Thomas Edward Salon & Dry Bar. These fellow wedding vendors have been waiting since our last new member introductions in June to come and meet the other dynamic wedding professionals in the area. TVWP continues to grow each and every month as we add more and more creatives to the vendor directory.

Networking, dinner, introductions, and an over-the-top dessert station presented by Chunk-N-Chip lead us to hearing from the specialty rental providers about their business’. There’s no better way to learn about someone’s business and their capabilities than from the company head themselves. But let’s get real, we teased this meeting as a prize-apoola and we didn’t disappoint. In addition to the ten gift cards raffled courtesy of Mosaic Bride Magazine, 2 admissions to the upcoming WeddingMBA were on the docket and they were won by Cynthia from Extraordinary Wedding Arches, and Mike of C Squared Events. We at TVWP can not emphasize enough how important it is to continue one’s accumulation of knowledge to grow your business, WMBA is, in our opinion, one of the annual cornerstone events for the wedding industry and we strongly encourage each member to experience this Las Vegas gathering and too not leave it in Vegas – but share it in Temecula.

As always, these meetings don’t happen without the contributions of many & we want to recognize them:
