The tradition continues. It appears that the wedding professionals that make up the Temecula Valley Wedding Professionals networking group have chosen the month of the July to provide the W.o.w factor to the visual theme of the mid-summer networking gatherings.
This July was no different as the the group did a barrel room transformation theme in keeping the trend of turning cavourness backgrounds into exciting and colorful showcases for wedding receptions. This up and coming trend is further accented by the chosen theme of a Beach Party as this is one of the most fun and least expensive palettes for a bride to do – especially here in Southern California. For more visuals on the Art of Transformation, please check out the Facebook album on our FB Page to see many of the details and exciting designs.
As for the meeting portion of the evening, Leoness Cellars provided the venue for the meeting in our first visit to this exciting winery. Starting with a signature cocktail reception on the upper ceremony lawn provided the members and guests the opportunity to see the primary wedding ceremony site that is center to Leoness’ wedding packages.
After an hour of business building, the group was moved to the lower cocktail area which serves as a great place to assemble your wedding guests during the post ceremony photo sessions that are typical here in wine country.
And finally down a leisurely stroll to the barrel room. With easy seating for 150-200 guests this temperature controlled environment is perfect to reward the guests as the temperature is controlled at or near the earths’ to preserve the numerous barrels of wine in the vicinity. The highlights – and there were many – included just walking in and seeing the BC Cafe & Catering food truck inside with a presentation that was both fitting and fun for the experience. Doing a food truck as the reception catering option is not just new, it also shows the guests that your wedding is not just the average traditional – but individual like you.
The main content for the nearly 100 in attendance was a panel of member DJ’s – Jeremy from DJ Pro’s, Mark from Sterling Productions, and Mike from C Squared Events who provided some very timely information on the up & coming trends for silent group DJ’ing, Lighting innovations, and the newest takes on the exiting GoBo tools that are here now and becoming really visually stunning for the guests of a wedding to see.
After what seemed like a great growth spurt in the new members joining TVWP of late, we passed over this routine portion and drew the Featured Member of the Month from the members who completed their passports of visiting all the area’s of the networking meeting itinerary. Fred of Sound Garden Productions, a long-time DJ, Emcee, and lighting professional was randomly drawn.
Wrapping up a visually stunning design is always tough, but we will of course try to out do this in due time. Next up is our August meeting at Temecula Creek Inn on August 4th starting at 5:30pm as we open the Art of Networking.
Special thanks to these Wedding Professionals that made this event spectacular:
