The fall wedding season is upon us and the wedding professionals of the Temecula Valley had no better sense of this than attending the October Networking meeting held last week at Danza Del Sol Winery.
We like to visit as many wineries as possible throughout the year, and our trip to Danza was as always, perfect. Denise and her staff are well versed in the finer points of hosting events and we were not disappointed. The evening of business building started with the golden hour spread throughout the property to showcase the differing locations that guests are holding events at.
With a wide variety of appetizers available with some of their exceptional varieties of wine, a lot of connections were made. In fact, we welcomed another 4 wedding business’ this evening, as TVWP continues to grow and re-enforces its position as one of the ‘must-do’ marketing resources for wedding & event professionals in this dynamic wedding market.
As with many of our meetings, the main event happened in the ballroom. October is our last networking event of the 2018 season, and as such the main focus was to help build new relations. Not the ‘who are you type’, but the next level of relationship building. The members and guests were tasked with preforming a few easy, but collaboratory type of tasks that served to increase the exchange of information among the table mates. This usually is a huge success and the participants who took part without a doubt know 7-8 new wedding professionals much better than before the evening started.
Another measuring stick we us to know if the members & guests built new connections – the deafening sound within the room. At times, the microphone struggled to over-ride the conversations – A Great Sign!
Summing up the evening is of course the help of the members who contributed to the meeting. Danza has been mentioned already and with that we want to express our appreciation to Denise and the owners of Danza for providing the venue and the exceptional two stations of cuisine. Second, the desserts by Elegance on Display, Jennifer has not only a style for display and but also a great variety of desserts which was over-whelming. Multiple trips were required to sample all her delicious works. Mike at 1024 Productions & Events continues his solidify his company’s position as one of the premier DJ, sound, and lighting outfits in the region.
Every table, as the images show, was expertly outfitted with a palette of color in the linens that BBJ Linens provided. Color is trending as a huge force in the coming year, and the room rang true to this throughout. Rounding up the contributions is the always outstanding photography work of Nicholas G Photography. His eye to capture the night is on full display below and as usual for Nick – great work!
TVWP’s next event is our year-end gala on December 4th at Temeku Hills Ballroom. This is traditionally the biggest event for TVWP every year, ad with our 10th anniversary this year – the moment will not be lost as were planning an ‘over-the-top’ evening for the members and their invited guests at this semi-formal gala.
